After install the system and some must have apps, I leave the computer on overnight to sync dropbox. However, in the morning, I found the fan was always at the max speed. In activity monitor, the kernel_task occupy 100% of a single CPU thread. I did some research, and kresbeatz’s post on tonymacx86 gives a solution.
Briefly, remove the com.apple.mediaanalysisd.plist
and reboot.

sudo mv /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.mediaanalysisd.plist ~/backup/ |
Work like a charm.
I have no idea what’s the function of it. Looks like some daemon monitor the “meida”, maybe some videos? I found it is not only cause CPU panic on Hackintosh but also ‘authentic’ MacOS.
