It emphasizes the structure instead of the genders. Patriarchal, or matriarchal, is that a group of people who have the authority and stand at a higher position governs the rest of people in society. That means, someone will command and someone will obey. 20 Questions might not be patriarchal in its mechanics, but the real world practices make it is. People who are living in a patriarchal society incur patriarchal system into it.
Audio And Written Words
When we listen to more and more podcasts and audiobooks, we are giving up the ability to read. It is rather difficult to introduce, analyze and demonstrate a complicated concept in speaking. Written words are more structured than oral language. It is the reason why we need essays or references to understand and practice new knowledge. I can never understand a math theorem or write proper code lines by only listening to the explanation.
