Summit delegates can cheer for our youngest geeks at the conference as they compete in the DEVCON Kids Robotics Competition!

Using the world’s smallest computer, the BBC Micro:bit, 7th and 8th Grade students will build their own car robots and compete in a race that celebrates the next generation of engineers and programmers.

The Championship Round will be shown LIVE at Capitol University Little Theater on November 9 at 3:45 pm!

Calling all Middle School Principals and School Directors:

Do you have students who are keenly interested in computer coding and robotics? If so, you can apply to bring a team of students to the DEVCON Kids Robotics Competition! Assemble a team of two Grade 7 and/or Grade 8 students to be accompanied by one faculty member (total of three individuals) to attend for FREE!

What you can expect from the event:

Over 16 hours of computer programming and robotics lessons, set for 2 days

(snacks and lunches are provided)

Opportunities to learn with students from other local schools

Exposure to an exciting robotics competition

A chance to win 4 robots for your school!
